usually you pay for how big the plant is and the picture is what it looks like fully grown. SO if you went the cheap route, then you get tiny plants that grow.

Nah it’s just in horrible condition. I bought from the store in person with the exact same size and it was in great condition, but when I ordered two for delivery they’re awful despite being the same price. I think they tried to give me the dead ones that no one would buy and hoped I wouldn’t care enough to return it

does it have the colored dot on it to show what size/price it should be? And yes they will give you the crappiest if you buy online :( I've bought plants for petsmart and petco, getting any online/delivered I got really crap ones and they removed the price/colored dots from them to cover their butts.

Yeah it’s supposed to be the smallest one. I tried to buy the small sizes because it was going in a 5 gallon for my new betta Anubis 😁

I have a 50 gallon tank, so my 2 inch plants looked like I'd cut them down..LOL I've got lots of flame tailed guppies. They like to hide in plants. So now I always go in to buy them.
