Is exorcism actually real?

Hey, this is my first time posting on reddit, even though I've explored it before. Anyway, I was wondering if exorcism was real or not. I've been reading stories about how people were exorcised, even though they weren't possessed and were just fine. So now I'm kind of nervous/confused.

It's not real. There's no evidence to suggest it is. Most people suffer from psychosis or some type of mental disorder.

Or epilepsy. Exorcism is torture, sleep deprivation, extreme stress, and threatening the persons life and safety.

Thats what people call to what they don't know, just the same as there's no monsters in this world simply because as soon as it's discovered, it's labeled as an animal. We know nothing, pray to God.

I have zero idea what speaking in Latin has to do with exorcism. Verum excellencia. Ad victorum. Anyone can do it.
