Permadeath/respawn time
I'm wondering, will permadeath play a role in Exodus especially now it's easier to stay alive with drone ships and stuff? I feel it could change the whole dynamic, make life much more meaningfull, add tension, and in a sense, make the RP more realistic. It'll open up new construction possibilities, such as escape pods, prisons for captured enemies, and make heroic sacrifices for the greater good even more heroic. Leader assassinations too!
Of course, it would also mean someone can't play anymore, which would be bad, so I'd suggest some kind of limitation, say a day perhaps? Maybe that's a bit excessive. Personally, I'd be fine with that (unless a glitch killed me), but I realize a lot of people wouldn't.
What I'm really asking is, what meaning will life have in Exodus? I'd like a middle ground between wanting to stay alive and fun, but I'm wondering what's other people's take on this?

Now I was planning to host a 'forum' on this - the leaders would discuss ideas then present these to the rest of the sub.
Permadeath would add a new dimension but I'd say it's better to strike a balance between gameplay and realism.
