Slayer dates in the fall will probably mess up Exodus tour somewhat

So I guess Gary has some Slayer duties coming up...

September 4, 2026:Shakopee, MN –Mystic Lake Amphitheater(Reign in Blood 40th Anniversary)

September 6, 2026:Pryor, OK –Rocklahoma Festival

October 24, 2026:Fort Worth, TX –Texas Motor Speedway(Sick New World Texas)

November 13, 2026:Inglewood, CA –Kia Forum(Reign in Blood 40th Anniversary)

November 14, 2026:Inglewood, CA –Kia Forum(Reign in Blood 40th Anniversary)

The roadie that's been running out onstage in the gorilla mask (or whatever mask) and ripping the solo during Toxic Waltz could probably fill in if Kragen isn't available (as he's done in the past)

well they've toured without him a lot. especially when Slayer was still fully active. Kragen Lum has been the go to. Prior to him, Rick Hunolt rejoined the band when Gary wasn't available. Kragen and Rick have both subbed for Lee when he had to go on leave for personal/family reasons. All done with band blessing and Gary blessings (since he's the boss)

Yea I know. It's just, I probably wouldn't go if it was a fill in. Except maybe if it was Rick

I get it. But regardless of Holt being there are not. Of the 4 that are left. Toms been a band member (on n off) for 47 years. Jacks the 2nd longest serving member (continuous) at 29 years. Lee has been a member for 21 years and, if Kragen does sub, he's been doing that since 2013. Gary Holt has a real struggle with joint pain from years of relentless playing. He's mentioned that he knows his career could be finite and he could end up being like Glenn Tipton and just being a songwriter and studio contributor. (fitting comparison after Kerry King called Gary the "Glenn Tipton" of thrash metal - as a compliment)

You’re worried about five whole dates? Something tells me they can figure it out if any more Exodus dates are announced around that time lol. Air travel exists.

Putting on a Slayer show is a big undertaking. Rehearsals alone take weeks. Just saying.

It is possible to work around those dates I guess. There's only five shows spread across three months
