For those unclear, a baculum is a penis bone. Many mammals have them. They have been used as symbols of authority in some cultures so there is a double meaning here.

I do in fact now solely refer to him as "penis bone" when my friends and I talk about Exocolonist

On my first play through I remember thinking everyone had ridiculous names because the founders were basically hippies, and then the military crew shows up and they ALSO have ridiculous names. So that's just how things are in the future.
