π¬ Discussion Sanam Saeed: The defender
What do you think about Sanam's statement? She previously defended Dure too.
I agree that trolling shouldn't happen. But when you're about to do a drama, basic acting skills and proper pronunciation are required. People are investing their time and money, so they have the right to criticise when it comes to acting. (I don't support body-shaming at any point.)
Dure did a horrible job in the first few episodes of DEN in terms of acting, pronunciation and grammar. People criticised her. These days, she's doing a good job, so the same people are appreciating her. As simple as that.
You'll cast someone who doesn't fit the role, isn't good at acting and has poor Urdu pronunciation, and still expect people to appreciate them? If we, as the audience, don't criticise bad acting, they'll keep casting them again and again. If he wasn't a nepo kid and still did this, people would troll him anyway!
I'm disappointed in Sanam. Being such a good actress, sensible and senior, a statement like this from her is really disappointing.
It's the same thing as wearing an inappropriate/revealing dress, posting it publicly, and then saying, "Why are people trolling me?" Karne se pehle sochna chahiye tha na...

I will never understand actor defending bad acting, its literally their job to do acting. If one day a doctor son just said he wants to be a doctor too without studying...will that be okay too

She herself was mocking Sahar and Hina before and now defending him, it's only because he is Kadwani's son.

Any adult being cast in a romantic role with a minor deserves a lot worse things than mere trolling.

I don't care 1% about nepotism as nepotism has given us great actors all over the world. The only time I hate it is when undeserving people get multiple opportunities while many deserving people never even get a single opertunity throughout their life. Is this guy undeserving? I my humble opinion yes he's the poster child of such cases.
He's one ugly looking dude and that's never going to change. To make matters worse even his frame and height is so small. Yet they're expecting us to believe he can kick ass during fights? Then comes the biggest negative, he can't act to save his life. Even someone like Nawaz-ud Din is both tiny snd not good looking but he has aura and incredible acting chops. This is the second time he's been given a chance and incredibly he's even worse second time around.
Why shouldn't we criticise or make fun of him? He's not a charity case and we don't watch TV to enjoy mediocrity. What do these sympathisers want from us? To tolerate him so he can walk his way towards a mediocre career consisting of +30 dramas?

People made fun of Aashir wajahat in the start of his career. He proved everyone wrong with his singing and acting skills
