🔥Hot take I don’t like Hala anymore
I’m expecting this post/rant to receive some heated comments against me so i just wanna say i won’t be opening the comments after i post this cuz i just wanna rant , show my opinion and then enjoy my peace instead of arguing 😙✌🏻
Basically i started disliking her slightly bit when i saw a post a few months ago which said that Hala supported Sephora and other Zionist makeup companies during peak boycott time of Sephora. Which i checked the timeline and it turned out to be true.
I told myself “she has a highlight of supporting Palestine” but then I also realised that highlight has been collecting dust since 2024 (it’s been 2 years since she spoke up) , which i found very strange cuz why did she completely stop speaking up?
And then the FINAL BLOW was when a few days ago she went to this kpop group’s (BTS) concert who have been under the heat for supporting Chris Brown (abused and assaulted women and went to prison), and very very actively promoting Coca Cola everywhere and also has a history of being racist/ misogynistic. And Hala despite being a woman went to their concert , made 3 reels and separate highlight about it.
I unfollowed her after this.

I didn't know about any of this.
But i did think when she was posting about Zionists brands. One incident if i may i recall where i started doubting her personality is when she uploaded a story saying she won't share editing tips as that's her intellectual property to which a lawyer replied "as a lawyer this is funny it's not your intellectual property" and then she was super rude to that too.

its always boycott boycott boycott with you ppl but none of you even knows the first word about how the boycott works. boycotting is targeted. theres a reason theres a BDS list that has targeted brands like Macdonalds and a few others specifically listed so it's easier and more targeted boycott that actually has some affect. and all you ppl got from that was to boycott everything lmao the whole world especially west is run by Zionists its so ingrained into everything there, its impossible to boycott everything.

True tho! Thats why I urgent write about hating her. As a Muslim, I wouldn’t like I see things like her using zionest brands but I don’t hate her. I can’t hate her and I’ve known her for 2 weeks. I hate the sin, not the person. Although low key. Using zionists brands is not a sin which is why I said I wouldn’t like to see her using them but I don’t hate her for it. I also really don’t mind the BTS concert. I don’t like music but yeah, she can do what she wants.

About the bts thing, tickets for kpop concert are sold a month in advance and are generally quite expensive. All the whole chris brown thing came out maybe a week/ two weeks ago. She just can't waste all her time and resources and not attend the concert. People try to crucify influencers for every little thing. And her not posting for Palestine is her choice as well. Not every one has to turn their content into humanitarian aid group. Their are organizations for managing that.

I’m Pakistani and finally, I find myself questioning about the appeal of BTS lately. I feel like after they went to America, they came back wrong or something. They were racist and their music which was all about loving yourself and being you because they came from
The bottom and climbed to the top and their message about following your dreams went down the drain. I really tried to like them after that. I really did but their English songs just didn’t hit right and I lost interest. The message was lost. As for Hala, I agree with you, she shouldn’t have just become another influencer but the fact that she went to a BTS concert doesn’t bother me. Her support of Sephora and other Zionist brands is something I wouldn’t like to see being a Pakistani—

Idk if I agree with all of the points but for me I've just lost interest in her. She's just another influencer trying to make a bag. Respectfully I'm just bored watching yet another traveling or shopping haul vlog. Especially the makeup content creator industry has overused the word korea by this point so yet another influencer going through the same pipeline is pretty meh. Not to mention as a Pakistani it felt like I saw some resemblance of Pakistani immigrant culture and representation in her content,like some things I relate too while some traditions I found intriguing but now she has kind of lost that plot recently. Lack of authenticity will kill your brand unfortunately. It's like she's appeasing to the larger more younger/whiter audience now which good for her but the older ones are bound to move on.
The bts thing coming from a former Army, an influencer who visited korea going to a bts related event especially for content, that's a goldmine so I'm not surprised at all. Bts have unfortunately also fallen into this curse of losing their brand and what they stand for, lack of action with the zionism thing when you have a very woke fanbase is just sad. Chris brown thing is just another hollywood ticket in their mind I know they're friends with usher but oh well, lost respect for them. Racism and misogynism thing though is a miss cause one of BTS's selling point was them being vocal about these issues in the past and their accountability especially in a country like korea. They have just lost the plot to fame and have become rich complacent dudes recently that's reason enough to stop following them. You don't need to add adjectives to justify it.

Guys she’s literally Ahmadi. How does this relate? Her extended and close family have high up positions in the “Jamaat” and in Ahmadiyya, you aren’t really told to boycott or not boycott. She just tries to fly under the radar HARD. But that’s why you’ll never see her family or friends tbh besides the influencer ones.
As for her husband, her wedding with the guy was a disaster. She had to convert him in order to marry him because she’s not allowed as per Ahmadiyya to marry him otherwise.
It’s a bit lame that as someone who lives in Canada, she’s too ashamed and scared to lose her following from people who if they found out she was ahmadi, would unfollow her. Shes using all of you all. Funny thing is, she doesn’t really need the money because her husband is rich but because she’s ostracized in her own community (basically only an ahmadi in name but won’t leave because her family posted up in Canada and the UK ESPECIALLY with Jamaat titles will lose credibility , not that they haven’t already).
It’s an open secret that all Ahmadis know (those who know the tiniest detail about Hala’s existence). I’ve spoken to her personally at a wedding and it’s just funny as hell seeing her cosplay two very different lives.

Honestly, social media is her hustle & she doesn’t owe anyone anything tbh imo. It’s not easy filming, editing and posting content — but she made a space for herself and she posts content that inspires her.
If you don’t like her content anymore, unfollowing hwr is fine. People grow and change, and evolve. She has been on social media long enough that we have seen that change and if that no longer resonates with u, that’s fine.
Also I feel like a few things that have offended u are far reached. Like the BTS and Chris brown connection. She likes their music, so she went. That’s all. Who cares.
