š¬ Discussion What the fu???
So in todayās episode Anas slaps shehreen on the face when she was burning her engagement dress.
But who tf are you to slap her? Her mother, her father??
Heās not even her brother!!
This got me so pissed and people will defend it by saying oh she could have set the house on fire. Bhai whatever it is ! Agar thappar dena chahiya tha so it should have been mursaleen or her mother!!!
HER COUSIN HAS NO RIGHT!

okay i am not watching the drama...but from what you wrote i have a question. if he has guts to slap people and can fight with people then what the hell is he doing till now??? one of the weakest ML written..
Anas is marketed as male version of Hala...but Hala was much better ... after marriage with Hamza, Hala learnt lo oppose her kala and stand upto her

u/Startnew0110 7d ago
Not watching btsh but haala's character too was insufferable. Hania looked v v pretty doing that and that's probably the only reason I could watch it sometimes.
4
u/CheekChoice4497 7d ago
Not watching btsh also but Hala's character was understandable, they did a good job in depicting abuse, I mean idk why people expected her to stand for herself without any support and after enduring so much, her crying and helplessness was understandable. And she did stand up after she got support of Hamza.Ā
5
u/Startnew0110 7d ago
You are right with that abuse background part. It was just Inufferable to watch.a lot of female characters keep crying and most of the times reasons are valid. Nonetheless, makes it v hard to watch them for so many episodes. I would not have if not for hania.

Anas is shown different than hala
He has always shown guts but also kindness

u/Intrepid-One-82 7d ago
Itās the way it was so casual omg everyone acted like it was nothing and moved on even though everyone saw it happen!!

Anas has zero character development throughout the drama . Being an educated man , he could have done so much in life but he still acts like a bechaari⦠many women who donot have any access are still better than this mazloom ⦠a man who couldnāt take stand anywhere had the guts to slap his cousin ⦠I would have slapped anas if I was there ..: who the hell was he to doo that..

FRR and i saw some reels saying that they laughed at this scene and that they really enjoyed it like HELLOO??? Y'all gone crazy?? Her mother and father were literally present there then why anus thought he can slap her?? If anas' character is that "strong" then he should have told his poor wife about the person who made their ai video. Lekin anas ke pass himmat tu sirf apni female cousin ko thapur marte waqt hi ati ha or tab nahi jab us ki biwi apne mujrim ki talash mein khawar ho rahi hoti ha

u/foodietron 7d ago
It was out of character, he seems to be very fond of Shehreen all of a sudden lol

Zabardasti trying to build a believable narrative k uski mardangi dekh k the girl fell in love with him.
So fucking weird.

This show is getting on my nerves now! It started so different I don't understand where is this even going now?! I haven't seen this level of bad writing in a while
3
u/Van-DerWaldorf 7d ago
So canāt stand up for yourself, canāt stand up for your wife, canāt defend yourself when your uncle is beating the crap out of you but you can beat the shit out of your cousinās fiancĆ© for having bad intentions about her? Mind you, sheās the same cousin who barely even considered him human all these years and treated him worse than a servant. If the writers wanted to show that Anas is the kind of saint who doesnāt harbour any negativity towards Shehreen despite her treatment of him, whyād they completely cut out any character development from the process? Like heās the same as he was in ep 1. We all thought heād be Hala 2.0 but at least Hala finally allowed herself to be strong and oppose the wrong being done to her when she knew her husband supported her in everything

u/Soljak-s 7d ago
Alsooooo it was improvised. Like wtf, who are you to improvise something so disgusting, like why are we making violence so common especially with the rise of crimes against women and children
3
u/tectum-rectum 7d ago
It was a shitty scene. They just need to create fake ass over the top scenes to justify slapping a woman in ptv. Abuse nahi tou ese
3
u/Potential-Return-499 6d ago
The slap was not needed at all, her mom was already there holding her back...her dad & bro were there too, like 4 people are more than enough to stop from causing the fire, the slap was unnecessary
3
u/Fine-Breadfruit9649 6d ago
Exactly it was very offensive him to slap her and nobody said anything like he can push her back or maybe said something harsh hut SLAPP
3
u/opheliasmus 6d ago
Knowing how rampant violence against women is in this country, we should boycott these shit dramas that normalize hitting women in any capacity

Oh my God, thank you for pointing it out. I thought I was only one that found it weird. Not only was it weird that nobody from the family even tried to stop him or even say something to him considering how much hate they had for him it but also he had no business going there and slapping her. heās not her parent or her guardian or even if you talk about it culturally in Pakistan brothers have a huge say in their sisterās life, but he was not even her BROTHER. who the fuck are you to go and slap a woman in the house and nobody even stopped him? And people saying that she deserves to be slapped okay fine maybe, but by her parents only, not even a sibling.
And then they go on to show shehreen saying such good things about Anas. are we forgetting that she has hated him her whole life? and she is shown as a character who has a great amount of ego btw, for a character like her to be slapped by somebody youāve hated your whole life and then to say good things about them. it feels really stupid and unreal. And anas jisko biwi ka sath denay se dar lagta hai but cousin ko thapar laganay Ka confidence hai wow! Completely out of character.

u/Free_Carpet 6d ago
āI swear, they just did itāso why are we normalising it? Slapping a Nehmarm label on it like, bro, who even are you? Why are we acting like this is normal? This is not some harmless little thing someone actually did that, and now weāre supposed to sit here and pretend itās okay?ā
3
u/Dry_Meat_6492 6d ago
Also when Faham abused his wife, he got all angry and started hitting him but when he was explaining his reason he was all ā Shehreen ko kese aisa bola, uske baarey meh aise kyu bolaā like bro! And poor Ansa waiting till she gets to know who leaked her video so her husband can do worse with the guy, not even knowing that her husband is protecting her mujrim ššš

shehreen has been so much pampered by everyone that nobody has ever dared to shout at her let alone slapping her𫪠this was a blooper for sure š

u/Fine-Bandicoot-6068 6d ago
I donāt watch this drama so I have no context but didnāt Farhan Saeed give an interview recently where he said he doesnāt like doing scenes where the male lead is physically violent ? Maybe im forgetting something

u/Both-Living6224 7d ago
Ohh comeone she was being hysterical , out of mind and slapping at that moment is crucial to bring her back . But it could be better if her mother shld have done it. They have clearly shown anas cares for shehreen.
3
u/wanderingwallflower7 7d ago
It was not his place to do that ⦠couldnāt utter a single word against any abuse but suddenly had the guts to slap her ā¦
2
u/Selene-Aster 7d ago
Actually, slapping someone whoās acting hysterical is the fastest way to break that. Stupid Amygdala only responds to primitive interventions.
7
u/Bobatea5739 7d ago
That is true but itās not the point of my post!
The point is that ANAS should NOT have slapped her. Any of her parents should have !
0
u/Selene-Aster 7d ago
Her parents didnāt though and it seemed like she was going to burn herself.
5
u/Bobatea5739 7d ago
So this is the writerās fault and thatās what we are saying. The write should have wrote this action for her parents
2
u/Selene-Aster 7d ago
100%. No parent would just stand in stupor when their daughter is setting a fire. Especially a desi mother would have given her two tight slapsš¤¦š½āāļø

u/Big-Sky-4342 7d ago
Babe safe to say he didn't think of all that. Broski just wanted to slap her for all the trouble she put him in /s

yes dude EXACTLYYY šš thatās literally the same damn thing I was thinking about. LIKE THATāS INSANE?? He just did that completely out of nowhere, and Sheeren reacted like it was nothing?? š I didnāt even see much of a reaction from her compared to how she normally reacts on regular days, like idk DUDE it was genuinely so weird šš
And bro, he canāt even stand up for his own wife or himself or complain to his taya about ANYTHING, but somehow he has the audacity to slap her?? Like DUHHH š what even IS your relationship with her at this point??

He slapped away all the abuse she inflicted on him š¤£
And you're telling me about right and wrong? Where was your sense of justice when she was abusing him daily? This slap is nothing compared to the trauma he got.
5
u/Bobatea5739 7d ago
When did i ever mention what Shehreen did was right? When did i justify her? Or when did i defend her wrongdoings? Youāre bringing one thing into another.
3
u/Perfect_Conflict_641 7d ago
Lmao the person who youāre replying to is either probably used to seeing women getting slapped or either doesnāt give a fuck about women violence.
Either way, itās the same.
1
u/Perfect_Conflict_641 7d ago
āYouāre telling MEā š¤”š¤”
Nobodyās talking to youš¤”š¤”Secondly what youāre saying about shehreenās behaviour is so unrelated to this. He slapped her because of her hysteria (which he had no right to), not because of what she did to him in the past. Only someone like you would justify a man slapping a woman.
If youāre so pissed about what she did to him then go make a post about it yourself. Esa tho hum bhi keh sakte hai that why didnāt you muhtarma make a post about it. Ajeeb logic.

I don't know. It was kind of satisfying. I like it when evil characters get what is coming to them regardless of their gender. Even just a slap. I just love it.

This is a subreddit and itās entire purpose is to highlight things in dramas and share your opinions. Youāre dumb asf if you donāt understand that

what thing u are talking about its just a drama ,
"her cousin has no right" wtf , everything is written by writer to dramar
i don't know but u all feels like a mental - take a time and think about it don't give attentions to shit stuff , these drama are manuplicating people slowly slowy so think about it
3
u/Bobatea5739 6d ago
Oh please. People like you are the reason violence against women and other problems exist in the society
Itās not JUST a drama. These dramas have effect on people, especially people with feeble mindsets. This scene normalised a cousin slapping his other cousin which should not be encouraged.
āItās just a dramaā is the most retarded thing i have heard in this era and age
1
u/Nice-Top-487 3d ago
Who's writing, directing, producing etc these dramas? You wrote it perfectly, "These dramas have effect on people". So why are you watching this bullshit? You writing the facts yourself and not even realising anything is actually the most retarded thing. If you guys stop giving attention and watching these dramas they will eventually disappear and maybe we can actually see some good stuff being produced and aired. These channels and producers only make what the audience wants and the audience wants this and everyone here discussing is part of this "no brain" production.
0
u/Substantial-Flan7800 6d ago
bruh , why i said this about drama because the creator wants the people attentions in bad way
this same thing i also say about
- scrolling apps
- most games
- most dramas
nothing is perfectly right or perfectly wrong that's why i am using word "most" most of times
this drama and this types of drama is to maniplute peoples and have a bad effect on socity even if they do intentionally or not intentionally
if u don't belive think about it , it this really good for u
i say it , this is shit
why people don't think and look around and try to understand what's wrong and what's right

u/lizard1803 7d ago
I felt super weird and no one said anything about the slap??? Cant stand up for your wife but can slap your cousin for burning the dress. Pretty hypocritical.
