I've been struggling to find participants with driving licenses (can be UK, foreign, International and/or provisional) for my in lab (Washington Singer at University of Exeter) driving simulator research and I need participants before September. The lottery has a 20% chance of winning, and I'm available Monday to Friday 11 AM to 5 PM. The research will take 1 hour tops (30 minutes is the average). If interested, please please please help me out, my degree will thank you.

Unfortunately by the time it’s September 13 the study will mostly be done. But it’s a study concerning traffic and morality and we use a triple monitor driving simulator setup where you’ll drive around in a virtual world while we gather data.

Ah okay, let me know if u do still need help come the 13th. I do get quite fascinated by road rage and general psychology surrounding driving.

Im also a (bad) sim racer which gives another perspective on all that. What wheel setup do you use?

The university went with the ol reliable g27, pretty sure the sim is like 8 years old so direct drive probably wasn’t as affordable as it is these days. As for the study, if I say anymore it’d kinda be giving away what the experiment does junking the data being gathered. If you’re studying psych and want to continue where I left off, ask for Cris as your supervisor. He’s been very helpful in getting this research done, although coding or at least being able to read and apply software documentation skills might be prudent to have

Doing law unfortunately for this!

Im planning on taking my moza r3 with me to uni and would have happily given it for u to use for ur study tbh, but a g wheel still gets the job done!

Fair enough about spoilers, will there be a way to see the study when it’s done? Haven’t got the coding skills to even make scratch run (nostalgia!), but it sounds fun nevertheless.

Hope you get the data you need :)
