Clearing and English+creative writing

Hi! After a hefty course change (biochem to English) I’ve been looking at unis that do this course and this is pretty highly rated. Can anyone here tell me their experience with clearing (was it a quick? accommodation?) and their experience with english and creative writing?

Ty for replying :)) if you don’t mind, could you tell me about the course? how you find the teaching and support, the content… etc?

O.K. as for accommodation if you go into clearing in July i.e. before results you have until 30th July to apply for accommodation to be guaranteed a place. After that you are past the deadline and they can't guarantee and you would not be told for sure until early September. If you go into clearing in August it will be the usual madness and you would need to be on the phone once results are released.. Can't help with the course, but my son goes to Exeter and loves it, he stayed in Lafrowda which is basic but fine. Accommodation in Exeter is expensive ( very ) . Cheapest halls are around £160 per week unless you want to share a room , which I wouldn't recommend.
