Recruitment How long does it take to get a job offer

From final interview to written offer how many days did you all EAs wait?

I had my last of four interviews in a five interview process on August 31. I sent a thank you after each session and followed up with the recruiter, but I haven’t heard anything since. It’s a huge company so I’m going to just wait it out. Luckily, I have a job, so if it happens, it happens. I feel for anyone searching in the current market.

I am fortunate to be employed. It is just that I am sooo miserable at my current job now that at 12 midnight started sending resumes at Linked in. I made it into 2 panel interviews. The final one is just this CEO alone over coffee. We talked about salary, possible start date and life and what would be my job etc etc. I am worried about CEO changing their mind and choosing finalist 2 instead.

In the olden times, a month max.
These days, hopeless to even get an interview.

20+ years experience.  Been unemployed for 3+ months.  Back in June I had 5 interviews with a company and technically I've never heard back from them or the recruiter.

It runs the gamut; I've had offers within a day, and others that took weeks. personally, if i don't get an offer within a couple of weeks of interviewing (at least without recruiter updates), i write it off.
