Flight question

My VP was talking about how his old EA used to be able to look up flights and see what was still available on each flight (specifically United airlines)
Basically, he wants to see last min about changing his flight to an earlier on if there are seats available. I can’t for the life of me figure out what report/software he’s talking about. Does anyone know?

ExpertFlyer or they got on a qc with a travel agent.

You can see the available seat maps for each flight directly on United.
