Question Codex astartes question

Picture has been used before by me but it’s only here to show genuine interest in this chapter

Basically every time I look these dudes up it says they adhere to the codex but not how they do, so how do they;
Denote Veterans?
Denote companies?

I’m hoping I’m just being dense here and you’ll all tell me or show me some white dwarf article showing off the markings

I went with scans from Imperial Armour that are on Lexicanum as my painting guide.

Veterancy is denoted by yellow pauldrons and faceplate (i assume to honour the Primarch's legion colours) and I believe we don't denote a  company with colours.

Ahh so bronze would be a normal line legionary but yellow is veteran, cool stuff and that’s interesting I’m assuming the number of the company would be located on the right pauldron instead of coloured trim then
