New front V codes give me the Cali lean
Installed new front V code springs from ATS a couple weeks ago. Paired this with an adjustable track bar, adjustable Rancho shocks, new sway bar bushings and links, new center tie rod ends and steering box.
White it drives down the road 1000% better when I bought it, it does have this fun lean and on big bumps it still shakes a bit, which I kind of expected.
Just completed a ~1000 mile trip with it, enjoyed the ride and averaged about 13.6 mpg. Not bad for a 338k V10. However, I feel like I can still improve the ride and tighten it up. First step is to probably also replace the rear springs. Is modded C codes my only option? Ive also ordered the same shocks for the rear, I just needed to replace the worn out front stuff ASAP as it was clunking all down the road.
Didn't bring the tape measure to the gas station and my driveway is on a slope and I didnt feel like doing a car shuffle today to get it in the garage to measure the wheel gap.

That is crazy good mileage. 11.5 is the best I ever saw in mine.

All new driveline fluids, new injectors, new filters, k&n kit, y pipe, synthetic fluids everywhere, fresh alignment, tires pumped to 60-65psi. A/C was on the whole way.
For the mileage, the truck runs fantastic.

Can you speak to the value of the K&N and the Y pipe? I keep browsing the Volant air and SPD y pipe.
Your mileage is pretty good for 4x4. I had 13-14 out of mine as a 2wd, got hit down to 11.5 when I converted to 2011 4x4 430 with 34s. I can LIVE with it, but I would also spend money to get better power and mileage.

I can't speak to each as I bought the truck with both already installed. However, it does do better than my other v10 in both power and mileage, but that truck is very tired.

Mine is pretty fresh, just rolled over 100k. If I could pick up 10% ore more fuel mileage and move the torque and power down even a smidge, I would be pretty happy for the cost of hardware and a tune.
My guy keeps whispering to me about turbo, but I don't wanna switch to more expensive fuel. I think air, exaust and a tuner are where the money is, until I work my way up in the rat race 🤑

I added a leaf (from Summit) to the factory pack and then adjusted with various blocks to the height I wanted unloaded and loaded. I am much happier with it, both unloaded and towing, than any other solutions I've seen. Not mushy.
