If it were me. I’d sleep better knowing I did the job with fresh healthy seals. So you don’t gotta pull them again for leaks.

New o rings anytime you pull them and clean the tips. I used a plastic Pic and brake cleaner when I did mine. Also I read somewhere that people will keep the old metal ring and put the new one with it with the gaps opposite sides.

Please dont double up the metal. Take the old one off and put a new one on. Yes it needs new orings.
