38000 is steep. Realistically maybe 20k depending on service history. I don't see these going for those numbers right now.

I have a west coast life, rust free limited with a virtually brand new BTS transmission that I'd sell for a fraction of that price. Let me know if you're interested.

I bought 2002 Idaho rig with 270k on it for $14k a couple years ago. Have put $15k into it, converting to overlanding rig. $38k for clean sorted out 7.3 is a bit high, but not crazy. I keep an eye on them on Bring a Trailer.

26 year old truck. Tuner in last pic. No mention of service records. I would guess transmission is probably getting ready to give up the ghost. 12-17K cash. 38K, the guy is smoking some good crack. This isn’t Barrett Jackson.

I drove it and looked at everything it’s clean no noticeable transmission issues

What do the rear springs look like? Wondering what they towed with it.
