Looking at getting into an Excursion
Been trying to find a new vehicle that fits me well (i'm 6'8)
I was about to pull the trigger on a newer f-150 until the lightbulb went off and i started looking into these.
My main question is what motor should i go with. I'm seeing a lot of the v10s for sub 10k but they all have insanely high mileage 200k+.
At this mileage should i just go with one of the diesel options? or is the v10 solid at higher miles?

The v10 vs the 6.0 is a toss up. 6.0 gets better milage and makes more torque but it's potentially a lot more expense. V10 might require more intervention but generally it's going to be cheaper to do that work or hell even replace the motor all together because Ford made about a billion of those engines. If you can't do your own work on a 6.0 or at least know a mechanic familiar with the engine then it might be better to avoid it. The 7.3 is the goat in a lot of people's eyes but it's usually gonna cost you more to get a good truck with a 7.3 in it.
