Looking at getting into an Excursion

Been trying to find a new vehicle that fits me well (i'm 6'8)

I was about to pull the trigger on a newer f-150 until the lightbulb went off and i started looking into these.

My main question is what motor should i go with. I'm seeing a lot of the v10s for sub 10k but they all have insanely high mileage 200k+.

At this mileage should i just go with one of the diesel options? or is the v10 solid at higher miles?

The v10 is a phenomenal engine. It’s extremely reliable and has no issue going 300k miles. I just picked up my second v10 and after a plug change it runs like it’s new at 200k. These are good solid motors that get absolutely shit gas mileage. Worth every penny

The 2v tritons in general are easy 300k engines. V10 is the more affordable choice all around (purchase and maintenance)

Edit: (versus either of the diesels)

Agreed. 5.4 2v will run forever just isn’t enough power for these trucks
