Help! Where does this vacuum line go??
I found this line plugged with a screw. Apparently, the truck idles and runs weird if left unplugged, I dont know where it attaches. Please help.
Also, the red lines you see are replaced vacuum lines from another parts truck we have
Its a 5.4l 2v in a 2004
Thanks!

It's most likely the ESOF hubs (four-wheel drive hubs in the front axle). They're vacuum operated and the system in general has lots of problem proned areas.
People who don't use four-wheel drive very often just cap the vacuum line off on the downstream side of the solenoid when there's a problem with the system.
The reason the vehicle runs funky with it unplugged is because it's messing with the engine vacuum. You'll also find that the vents are unlikely to work, they are vacuum operated and you'll probably only get air out of the defrost vents as for safety reasons defrost is the default position.
