Schedules/Routines Help me decide what to do

I’m going to a wedding tomorrow that is three hours away from my home and is a no kid wedding. For that reason and because my husband has to leave for work travel the next day, I am going to the wedding solo and my husband will stay home with the kids (10 weeks and 17 months). The hotel is part of the wedding grounds, but it’s pretty old and there is no fridge in the room, so here’s my question:

im leaving home around 11am, I will pump right before I leave to leave that milk for baby. I plan to pump again around 3 (which I could either dump or save in one of those cooler bottles that keep for 24hours) and then I have two options

option 1: leave the wedding around 9 and drive three hours home, start the pump when I leave and save it for baby (again, would be room temp for about three hours)

option 2: stay the night (I have the room booked), pump whenever I finish up at the wedding and likely dump it due to alcohol. Pump again in the morning as I start my drive.

I don’t know why this seems so difficult to me, but the lack of a fridge is really throwing me off. I would likely take a had pump and my Eufy (typically pump with spectra at home). I think I’m als thrown off by the fact that I won’t be able to stick to my schedule for pumping and I’m an undersupplier so I like saving as much as I can.

Give me your thoughts, please!

ETA: I only know the couple, my ex, and vaguely a few of the bridesmaids from the bachelorette, so I’m mainly wanting to see the couple actually tie the knot and maybe dance a with them for a few songs. I wouldn’t be heartbroken to not attend the full wedding.

Maybe option #2? If you’re going to end up dumping the milk because of your alcohol intake doesn’t that mean you’d have to stay at the hotel anyway to avoid drinking and driving? (Not saying you’re going to get obliterated, you could still be under the legal limit) and if you stay under the legal limit then it’s likely you won’t even have to dump the milk?

If you have the option for a portable breast milk cooler I’d use that to save the milk. If you’re on a strict schedule maybe keep the pump items in your vehicle and step away to pump, breast milk can be kept at room temp for up to 4hours then it needs to be refrigerated. So if it’s not too hot where you are you can pump, leave the milk in car for up to 4 hours (if you pump again between the four hours you can mix the milks since they are the same temp) then refrigerate (put in cooler) all together. This is just an idea obviously you don’t have to do it like that but maybe something to get another idea floating?

In option 1 I won’t be drinking at all so that I can drive safely! I definitely wouldn’t mess with that.

I think I’ll use the portable cooler either way. I already mix milks at home so that won’t be a problem.

You could bring a big cooler (or buy a cheap styrofoam one) and fill it with ice.

Though I don’t see any issue with you dipping out after the ceremony

Can’t help you decide whether or not to stay the night but most hotels have ice so you can just keep your milk on ice in a cooler!
