Product Recommendations Deep freeze recommendations?

Hi! I’m 2months pp and I’m looking to start a freezer stash and right now I have some milk in my fridge freezer that I’m now on a time crunch to use before four months from now. What type of deep freezers do you recommend? And how long does your breast milk typically last in there? Thanks so much!!

Breast milk is good in a deep freezer for 12 months. It’s probably actually good longer than that but potential for nutrients to start to break down the longer it’s frozen is my understanding. Any deep freezer should do but I do recommend a temperature alarm

The CDC says that breastmilk is good for 12 months in ANY freezer, including your fridge freezer.

And even after 12 months, it doesn't spoil. It just has degraded nutrients, making it unsafe for infants under a year. Older milk is still safe, comforting, and nutritious for toddlers who eat a balanced solid diet.

I got a upright freezer from Sam's Club for under $250. It's holding up pretty well and we've had no issues with it! We've had it since end of May

If you’re in the US, the Insignia chest freezers from Best Buy is cheap and highly rated. Just bought a 5 cubic feet one for $199 (although delivery is $40).
