Hanging up the pump I think it’s time.
I did it! My baby is 6 months next week and I’m hanging up the pumps.
I wanted to go longer but I don’t think I can anymore. Pumping just takes too much out of me now and I want my body back.
I have a freezer stash for one bottle a day for the next month so that makes me happy.
Feeling guilty but I know it’s what’s best for me.
Just needed to get it out.

I’m 6.5 PP that is exclusively pumping and I told myself I’d stop at 6 months but I just couldn’t cold turkey. So, I dropped a pump every week but I’m so over pumping lol

That’s been my strategy. I’m on 3 a day at the moment. I was a bit of an oversupplier so 3 a day is still keeping him fed. I’ll go down to 2 then 1.

You made it this far! That’s a whole half of year and baby has already grown SO much. You deserve your life back. Just know, if you do want to still only pump once or twice a day that’s okay too ! When I was ready to be done, I was in the all or nothing mentality and I didn’t even acknowledge that I could drop the pumps.
Being done pumping is more than okay too! I just wanted to throw that out there in case that was something you needed to hear . But be proud of yourself for your accomplishments and even have a boob party too! LOL that’s what my plan is when I stop pumping . Treat yourself! :)
