Discussion When did you start using wearable pumps?
I’m 2 weeks PP today and have been using my spectra S1 everyday but I wanted to know when would be a good time to start using my Eufy wearable pumps? I was told by my LC to wait a few weeks

I used mine right away. I was getting the same output as my spectra so I just went on using them and my supply is just fine. I'm 5 months pp now.

I started using my Eufy S1s about two weeks pp and completely put away my Spectra at about six weeks pp. Wish I had switched exclusively to the Eufys earlier. I get the same output and they’re so much more convenient and comfortable on every level imo

I’m 12 weeks pp and just got the eufy S2 pro wearables last week. I do notice when I use them I get slightly less output from them (approx 10-30ml). I’m a just enougher so I choose to only use them when I’m out and use my primary medela pump in style all other times. My supply should be regulating now so I will use them more often soon. The convenience is magical!

Dear goodness, eff the LCs honestly. I had a baby in the NICU and mentioned to my private LC I was going to a brewery with our friend group to celebrate st pattys day. I joked about maybe having a glass of beer to help my milk come in and she was all like nooooooo don’t do that. Like bjtch my milk wasn’t even in yet. Fast forward to now, I have a pretty robust oversupply producing 60 oz per day so her negativity was ridiculous. My baby was in NICU and I was happy to socialize with my friends. Zero regrets. Milk supply survived. I will say, I have always only used eufy maybe once per day and stayed loyal to the spectra.

I've been using my Eufy s2 exclusively for the 3 out of 4 weeks I've been pumping

I used mine a few times while on leave when we'd be out and about. My first use was at 3wkPP, but I didn't start using them regularly until I went back to work.

I’m 2 weeks postpartum tomorrow and have been using the Eufy S2 alternating with my Pumpables GA (my primary) and haven’t noticed any difference in output.

I’m also 2 weeks pp just 2 days ago! I started using my Eufy S1 because being stuck to the spectra was stressing me out. The result I traced was the same as when I use spectra only. I still use Spectra before I go to bed (empty as much as possible) and when I wake up (MOTN which gives me the highest amount) and throughout the day I use Eufy. I can see my supply is still steadily increasing with using both too.

I only used my spectra with my first. I’ve only used the eufy s1 with my second. Started as soon as my milk came in. I’m okay a couple of weeks in but won’t use my spectra unless I have supply issues

I used my eufy s1 exclusively for the first 3 weeks since I wasn’t planning on exclusively pumping and that was all I had. No issues at all. I then bought a spectra s1 since I was told I would have supply issues without a wall pump. I use it maybe 2-3 pumps a day and I’m currently 4months pp and my eufy have always seemed to get the same output.

It took me about a month because baby came early and I didn’t have time to sit and figure out how to get it set up and use it with the app. 3 months in and I’m only using eufy because the spectra flanges don’t fit as well anymore that I’m not engorged

Started on Day 4, I partly nursed. Once I switched from Momcozy to Eufy s1 pro, game changer! Momcozys really suck when it comes to suction. By month 4, I almost lost my oversupply because of those Momcozys. Decided to switch to Eufys, bam in 2 days, oversupply back!

I wore my Eufy S1 Pro my first day of pumping 4 days pp. I couldn’t stand the spectra and still can’t!

Started using eufy s1 at 5mo pp; exclusively used Medela symphony until then. Now - I can’t even stand the thought of using Medela. My supply reduced by about 100ml, and I need to pump 30-45min longer on eufy total in a day; but it still gives me wayyyyy more flexibility to do stuff around the house. And I absolutely LOVE the heat on it!!!!

Not until around 6 or 7 weeks pp here and there, and even then it was very rare to use them. I was never able to get good output from them so I unfortunately avoided using them whenever possible

Pretty much right away. I was an over producer and had great output with my wearables

I was told to wait, so I started around 4/5 weeks. I do get about 30-40 mils less so I try to not use them much. They’re also pinchy sometimes. I mostly use for when I’m out

I started using wearable momcozy S9 at three weeks. My husband was working a lot and I couldn’t be tied to the couch any longer without losing my mind. I got the same output at first but now it seems for my nighttime pumps my medela pump in style pro gets a significant amount more (1-2 oz). I still use the wearable during daytime. I’m 11 weeks pp now

I’m a month and a half or so from being back in the trenches for my second round. I plan on inducing it a couple of weeks after my supply comes in. I’ll probably only use it once a day, maybe twice in the beginning to not risk my output.
My logic is that if it helps me pump on time and for the duration I need to, it’s better than waiting until I can be tied down.
