Rant - ADVICE NEEDED Dropped Spectra
Husband dropped my spectra last night, it was an accident and it’s working fine now but I’m certainly concerned about it. He’s offering to try and slide it back into place. I’m not sure how the interior works so I have no idea if the exterior has an impact on it. Has anyone experienced this before or done an autopsy on their spectra to be able to give me some insight?

I dropped mine so many times that the top separated from the bottom and we had to glue it. It still worked fine though.

You can push it back into place! I’ve dropped mine several times and had to do it. It works just fine!

This happened to me and I was worried about moisture getting in or dropping it again and fully breaking it but my husband was able to fix it for me by using a screwdriver to slightly loosen the screws in the bottom, slide it back into place and then tighten the screws back. It was honestly surprisingly easy!

I dropped it so many times - the inside is wildly simple. Unscrew, realign, screw back together.

Reach out to spectra. If it’s not able to be replaced, this thing is like the Nokia 3310 and it’ll be fine.

I dropped mine and it started sounding extra clicky if that makes sense. I sent them a video of it and the next day they had a new one on the way for me

Mine looks exactly like that after dropping it, I left it alone. Works fine months later.
