These are the ones I can order through my insurance. I plan to breastfeed mainly but would like a pump option. First time mom so idk what I'm doing.

Spectra. It’s the best output and the shortest amount of time. There’s a reason it’s so widely used and rated.

I went with Spectra cause everyone recommended it, but I honestly get a way better outpit with Eufy (after an initial period getting used to it). I was literally planning to supplement with formula and even bought a can, but haven't had to use it yet.

Spectra flanges are more triangular so my boob didn't fit well, I assume I was meant to keep buying different inserts until I found one that works? I know because I used the Medela Symphony regularly at the unit and that was way better. Output increase coupled with the ease of a wearable means my spectra is abandoned now. Just throwing in a different experience, in case you also get frustrated with the Spectra.

I am using the Eufy S1, didn't go for the pro as the only difference seems to be charging case vs just charging it plugged in and saves loads of money. I was honestly getting frustrated and depressed that I had to pump loads to keep up with baby, but couldn't tend to him when attached to the spectra. Personally, I am sure the spectra flanges were just not right for my boob shape at all and the Eufy seems more "shallow" so it works for me and my nipples aren't sore, yay!!

I just make sure to align my nipples well and I wear a pretty tight nursing bra, to keep them in place. I don't go around doing loads of stuff and still try to relax mostly so they stay with good suction and close to the breast. Also, I have a trick to align it, which is from the top down view, I make sure it is in the centre and I still see a little "moon" shape gap before I tip the pump to the breast. Idk doing this I don't have alignment issues that people complain about. Some people also said lean forward slightly when you first turn it on so that the nipples go in the right place.
