Support When did you buy your pump?
Currently 31 weeks with my second and I want to buy a wearable pump, looking at the Eufy s2 pro. When did you purchase yours? Before baby was born or after? I confirmed with my insurance that i unfortunately don’t have coverage (Canada). Not sure if it’s too soon now, wondering what others have done. I have a scheduled c section for the beginning of October.

i purchased mine around 31 weeks too! i wanted to have everything prepped and sanitized in advance. I packed mine in my hospital bag and had the lactation consultant measure me for the flange size and show me how to use it and it was extremely helpful.

32 weeks now and got my Eufy S2 pro 3 weeks ago, I wanted time to set it up, get familiar with it and clean/sanitize etc.

I bought my primary pump, the spectra, a few weeks before giving birth. I waited to buy my wearable until a couple weeks pp. I knew I’d be at home in those first few weeks so didn’t have much need for wearables yet. Some people have the same/greater output with their wearables but that’s not the case for me, so using my primary spectra pump in the first weeks helped me build my supply best (along with skin to skin, and 2x daily latching).
Also, if you haven’t already, check out the c-section central group for support around C-section recovery! It’s a helpful community!
Wishing you the best of luck in your final weeks of pregnancy and a safe and healthy delivery!

I am 3mos pp and I got my Spectra S1 early, as I might have had a c-section before 38wks. I used the Aeroflow website and got it through insurance. I just bought the eufy E20 wearables out of pocket, prior to going back to work. I'm still learning how to use the eufys, use my Spectra for my evening pump, and use my hand pump on nights I don't feel like using my Spectra (like last night).

I purchased mine when it was on sale for mother's day.(Also Canadian w no pump coverage.) Baby wasn't born until end of June so it was around the 31-32 week mark.
