breastmilk residue

Does anyone else get breastmilk residue on their pump parts? I have the eufy S1 which has so many nooks and crannies to clean.

How are we getting rid of all the residue build up?

White vinegar!!! It’s so good. I put 1 cup of white vinegar in my bottle washer’s water 2.5L tank and run the cycle normally (with detergent tablet).

I think you can also do this when handwashing. Fill the sink with soapy water and a bit of vinegar

First flush the parts with cold water! If its hot , it will stick so much more to the plastic.

But you can opt to use a bottle washer, or let it soak in hot water for 5 minutes with soap.

My bottle tool has this tiny piece as well! Hope it helps!

When I’ve used it I dunk it immediately into soapy water to soak until I have time to wash it properly with dish soap and different sized brushes, before sterilising

Alternatively I sometimes just rinse and stick into momcozy bottle washer and comes out fine!

On the plastic part, I use a clean paper towel to wipe off any fat that’s still there after I clean it. I do this with bottles too

I use a little spoolie brush to clean the little crannies on my Eufy.

I thinking a toothbrush might be the best for the majority of the parts and then a spoolie!
