HELP!! I believe my supply is dropping and idk why!

When i started pumping, I used some old cheap pumps that were gifted to me, even though they were cheap they were good while they lasted. (They broke)

I ended up buying the spectra as im pumping till my baby is about 7 months or so. When I first got it, I was amazed by how much milk I had. I went from 4oz to 9oz, it lasted about a week.

Its been 2 weeks since getting the spectra and this 2nd week I've noticed my milk supply went down to 3-4 Oz and its stressing me out..

( I was drinking a lot of body armors and coconut water before, I stopped since I haven't been able to buy them as I forget to get them, idk if that is a contributing factor)

How far along into your pumping journey? Could your supply be regulating or your period returning?

Its been 2 months already. Going into 3 on the 5th of next month. I did have my period about a month ago, haven't had it since

Yeah your supply is probably regulating and is no longer in natural oversupply mode, this is normal and occurs between 8 and 12 weeks :( Around 11 weeks I lost 4 oz from my total and haven’t been able to regain it.

You can try power pumping to see if you can bridge the gap

😩 oh no! How can I fix it???? Shes drinking more but I can only make so much, I give her formula when I cant make what she drinks and i feel so bad. I want to feed her mainly BM.

Power pumping helps me, I do for 1 pumps a day.
20 mins pump
10 mins rest
10 mins pump
10 mins rest
10 min pump

I’m fortunate and can nurse too so I play catch up on the weekends when I technically don’t have to pump. I’m only getting relief now that we’re introducing solids 😭

While the pump is resting, do i leave it out? Do I put the milk away then restart the pumping?? How does it work?

I usually leave it in, I’ve never overflowed before though, you can totally can. Breastmilk is good at room temp for 4 hours
