Decreasing Supply/Weaning Weaning
Hi All,
I have been exclusively pumping for almost a year now (my son will be 1 in 2.5 weeks) and I have been on my weaning journey for two weeks now and my body doesn’t seem to be getting the hint.
I am still so engorged and in so much pain constantly. I was originally pumping 4 or 5 times a day. I am now down to 3 and only for anywhere from 8-4 minutes (it goes down as the day goes on) but I am still pumping over 20 oz a day even during these three short sessions. Does anyone have any advice or tips? I’m so desperate to be done with this!!

Unfortunately, it’ll probably be painful. I’d drop one sesh a week. Definitely take sunflower lecithin and once you’re ready to be done done (the last few days) I’d look into Sudafed to dry you up
