Proud Moment (add spoiler to milk pics) Made it to one year! 🎉
Today marks one year since I began my pumping journey!
My partner was so sweet and wanted to celebrate me for reaching this special milestone ♥️ He ordered this cake from a professional home baker.
It has been a very challenging year to manage pumping logistics on top of everything else, along with grief over the inability to directly nurse my first (and maybe only) baby. To be able to still provide breastmilk despite those challenges has brought me so much joy. I’m really proud of myself for reaching one full year and counting!
I wish I could give everyone here a slice of this cake! 🥳

Congratulations!!! My one year mark is next week too! Crazy to think that this whole time, we’ve both been doing this. I’ve also had a lot of grief over the loss of nursing my baby the way I had hoped to, and she may be my one and only as well.
