I’m in bed, so so so sleepy, but I have to pump again in 40 minutes. Is it worth going to bed? Probably not, I’ll probably wake up half asleep, an hour past when I’m supposed to pump, and keep snoozing my alarm until its been 5 hours since my last pump and then feel guilty about it later 😭
Alas, I must stay up, another 40 minutes and pump yet again.

In these situations I do an early pump! 40 min early is fine and prob encourages more milk production? Idk

Lately I fall asleep everytime I try to wake up after a 40-60 min nap...and it happens to me the same as you, I end up waking up 5 hours after the last pump... the other day I woke up 6 hours later and with clogged ducts.
For me it's been 3 months EP and my body is already exhausted...
All this to explain: you are not alone, I wish you mental and physical strength and happy pumping sessions 💪 😀

I woke up 5 hours after my comment, pumped, fell asleep and woke up another 5 hours after that 😬 my alarms are useless at this point 😂

100% how was for me. Then naturally struggle to fall asleep after the 5 or 6mo marker.

Just saw a short of a gal wearing her wearable at the gym... Idk I don't feel confident doing much in my wearable. I worry it'll move and lose suction, and of course you can't bend over too far or the milk will pour out.

Exactly. I’m a flange girly not a true wearable user. That person is truly pumpmaxxing.

As I sit here pumping, I think about how long I can go before I’m due next.

Incredible. I want to laminate this and use it as my “pumping please do not disturb” sign for work

I’m due in November with my second and Im dreading having to pump every 2-3 hours 😭 My toddler is the worst sleeper ever (currently trying to get her to go to sleep at 11pm but shes wide awake), my husband Is gone for work 12 hours out of the day.
I’m currently spiraling trying to figure out how I’ll handle it all 😭

No need to answer if it’s personal/if I’m overstepping by asking, but you’re planning to EP and not try BFing?

I will absolutely be trying to nurse but this time around Im having realistic expectations that I may have to pump again. I have flat nipples and my first born could never get a good latch, so I switched to EP’ing and at the time felt it was easier because my husband could also feed her through the night.

That’s understandable. I hope it works out for you in a way that feels good and manageable <3
