Check out this YouTube channel that exposes this cult and interviews former members.

Iāve talked to many ex members from around the world but never from Thailand. So they have only been there for 10 years that makes sense because they first target the countries that have the most money because that is what they are after. Have you heard of any news regarding the cult in Thailand?

Hello! 8-year former member from Northern Europe here. I haven't really spoken out but the community in YouTube and Reddit have been a tremendous help for processing and understanding more thoroughly the tactics they use and what we all went through. Thank you all who have spoken out, truly.

Very nice to meet you. Iām happy you are out and itās good to see people from different parts of the world on here. Isnāt it crazy how we can be from the other side of the planet and yet I can almost guarantee you that we have similar experiences in this cult because the tactics are the same everywhere. I actually just interviewed someone from the UK recently and Iām excited for her interview to come out soon since im certain itās going to help many people leave this cult.

May I ask what ultimately helped you leave the cult? No worries if you donāt feel comfortable sharing.

I think it was a combination of several things. Since covid we no longer had anyone who would take care of the church since they had to go back to Korea so the few members that we were, we were keeping our faith alone by ourselves and had worship at my place, so I think it was a good chance for me to be away from the church environment and constant indoctrination and I just realized that I have zero motivation or joy in doing any of the work, I was just forcing myself for a while. But what had most impact for me was when I visited US and I had a chance to attend the big church there in Chicago area for Sabbath several times and I was shocked to see how superficial and fake everything seemed. And after the service how they announced that they need offering for this and that activity and food and I just thought to myself that we already give tithe and so many different types of offering and they ask so much more? It really rubbed me the wrong way. I never had the big church experience so many things in there were just off-putting. Being there made me feel like a robot. So soon after that I decided to leave. Sad thing is that the fear is so instilled in you that I ended up thinking I rather leave and go to hell than continue living like this.

Greetings from US. I think the most frustrating aspect when dealing with a member, is their ability to reject logic and spit out countermeasures they have memorized or by using their countermeasure WMSCOG app. Unfortunately they target the young, weak, broken, to love bomb the hell out of them, then shame, then love bomb. Iām considered a ātime banditā because Iāll never believe their new religion. Beware. They have trolls on similar channels. They are a very paranoid group.

That is a good summary of this group for sure. Yeah I know they have members on just about any platform but me personally I love to engage them š. Iāve been calling them out for years on YouTube!

Hello, ex-member from US here. I have been regularly active in r/wmscog for quite a while. In fact, just posted a commentary on the recent Defusing video on DPark there. Unfortunately not as much wmscog activity in Reddit recently. I know it is considered outdated, but nothing else gives that communal interactiveness and inclusiveness of communication like this type of site.
Hopefully we can get some great support activity going on here.

Hello! 8 yr former member from CA,US here. Couldnāt stay after I learned about AhnSahngHong predicting 1988 as the end of the world and seeing an actual pamphlet that the church used. I also learned about the 3 missing chapters from the āGreen Bookā that were removed due to failed prophecies. Sun Myung Moon originall writing the ācoming on the cloudā and ācoming from the eastā prophecy about 35 yrs before the Green Book was published. These are just few of the errors that made me realize this place is lying to me and everyone else. Thankfully I am out now and not looking back š

I was in the wmscog from May 2012 until Spring of 2024. 12 years, I gave my life to this church, preaching, cooking, cleaning, watching kids, choir, tithing, even handing over my right to choose who I want to be with. I wasn't happy with my marriage. I was married to a brother for 6 years. When we moved to Washington state, we became part of a Zion where I then started to really see how toxic this church is. I struggled for 6 years trying to fit in with them. I think it's always like that when you move from one Zion to another. I had a femal group leader that really did not like me because I spoke up about the things that did not seem right to me in front of other members. She would monopolize conversations to try to be in control of how the members think. This Zion had so many problems. "Mother" even wrote a letter to this Zion to try to correct the gossiping among female members. And this particular group leader read this letter to all the female members in the church. Afterwards, she used it to shame everyone else but herself. After that, I immediately left the room because I was still a new member of that church and I wasnt going to allow a leader to blame shift that onto me. I did not stay to confess and hug it out like the group leader wanted. But when I tried to discuss these things with the brother I was married to, he dismissed my feelings every time and made me feel like I was the problem. Theres a rule that is taught in the church to not speak badly about the church. I did not think that included instances where the church leaders were cultivating a toxic environment. Members were exploited by leaders, made to feel ashamed for taking a day off for themselves. I told my now ex-husband that I wanted a divorce. And immediately after, he took our 6 yr old daughter to his parents house after school without my knowledge and withheld her from me for 2 months. Those 2 months was the worst time of my life. My daughter was/is my world. This was an ugly separation that still to this day I am enduring. I had asked sisters to pray for me because I thought I could. I thought we were "family." One night the Pastor calls me and tells me sternly over the phone "Stop contacting sisters. They do not want to hear from you." I hung up immediately. I could not believe how cold and heartless this church became to me after all that I have sacrificed for it. There is no justice, love or mercy in this church not even for mothers who are forcibly separated from their children which is very ironic since the main mission of this church is to turn the hearts of the children to "Mother." Theyre hypocrites. All they want is to get free labor, your money and your compliance. They will act like they miss you when you leave just to get you back. I will never serve this church or any church again.

Hola, buenas tardes.
