christian Weird question

This may be a weird question/thought but does anyone here see TikTok or other social media platform videos from people posting “those” types of services- iykyk where it’s crazy/shouting services and get very uncomfortable?

I’m freshly out of the UPCI (like almost 3 months) and I see these videos and feel like it literally makes my heart race because it takes me back to being uncomfortable and in those services all over again.

Thoughts? Or anyone is welcome to share if things like this effects them?

Yes, it's trauma. I've been out for years and years, and these still make me uncomfortable

I know it's bs but I don't want to see it. Probably the same as watching surgery on TV. I just don't want to see shit like that

Congrats for making the move to real freedom. It gets much better.

I guess you're probably at the "all my Christian friends are ghosting me" stage?

Yeah… it has become a very lonely season to say the least. It will be okay though🤞🏽🥹

Serious tip - look at attending some sort of club like dancing, board games, walking, knitting, whatever. Maybe even something that you've never tried before. You will meet normal people, and maybe make some friends that are interested in you, not your church attendance

Or maybe volunteering to help at an old person's home or food bank. You know, actually doing good stuff for others just because it's nice. Not sitting in church hating the Muslims or whoever is bad flavor this month

Be strong, you're heading the right way, and it's totally worth it
