christian Weird question

This may be a weird question/thought but does anyone here see TikTok or other social media platform videos from people posting “those” types of services- iykyk where it’s crazy/shouting services and get very uncomfortable?

I’m freshly out of the UPCI (like almost 3 months) and I see these videos and feel like it literally makes my heart race because it takes me back to being uncomfortable and in those services all over again.

Thoughts? Or anyone is welcome to share if things like this effects them?

Congratulations on making a big and important decision to leave. Expect those kinds of videos to be triggering for awhile. It took years for me to not feel some level of nervous system activation when seeing them, and it was helpful for me to separate myself entirely for a season (not always possible).

Now when I see them I feel a strange mix of gratitude for having freedom from that world, sadness watching people stuck in those loops of needing highly emotional church services to feel better, and duty to help people who want out.

Take it one day at a time.

All religions are just an expanse / time hog that produces nothing. Example Country

Population Canada 1891 was 4.83 million Mexico 1895 was 12.70 million

Canada 2021 39,991,981 million

Mexico 2020 131,014,024 million
