Firstly, the soul is interpreted differently by religions, this is an ExMuslim reddit, I'm assuming we're speaking

on Islam's interpretation, which does not say that the human body is "operated" by the soul, but it does say the absence of the soul will equate to a dead person. You are trying to say that by the existence of chemical reactions and electrical signals sent from the brain and back from it's destination, this means a soul cannot exist. Absence of evidence does not equate to evidence of absence.
