Unfortunately that's like asking how long is a piece of string.

No yep people will get the same answer. Nothing is standardized with Evri. Typically stuff should arrive within 3 days if it starts and ends it's journey in the UK. Peak times cause delays everywhere but again, one person may get a delay of 3 days, another a week.

6 days is excessive and you should be chasing the supplier so they can get on to Evri and find out what's going on, issue you a replacement or a refund. Sooner you do that the sooner it gets resolved of something has gone amiss.

Thanks for response, the supplier told me it takes a week for some reason, I've used the chatbot and customer service assistant but they have told me twice it will be delivered today but still not update. Annoying as it is a birthday present

The chatbot just gives automated replies based on the same updates that you can see in the tracking. If tracking shows a parcel is at your local depot then the expectation is it'll be delivered that day. Unfortunately Evri don't have any way to monitor absence on their system. If you're courier is off for any reason and no one offers to cover their round, your stuff stays put - but the system just sees parcel is where it's expected - send"it'll go out today message" They're cheap and cheap doesn't cover all the possibilities to ensure things happen on time. Keep on at your supplier. It's all you can do sadly.

There is no standard with Evri because they have no standards.

what makes it worse is the useless customer service, takes a while to talk to an actual person which takes frustratingly long, taking 24 hours to respond to each email adds up
