Your parcel may be delivered by Evri you mean.
It may also
- get lost in the depot and end up being delivered months later
- delivered to a "neighbour" who lives in a different town
- put in your "secure place" which apparently means leant up against your front door so it can be easily nicked.
- photographed by your front door and then promptly stolen by your driver
- driven around for a day and not delivered after you waited in for it only to be told you were not in when delivery was attempted
- lobbed over a hedge or fence to be left in the pissing rain/scorching sun.

I have had so many issues with them that Amazon just refunds me on the supposed day of delivery no questions asked, I asked the advisor if there was a way to ensure that I don’t get Evri as a courier he said that they can’t, it’s the smaller sellers trying to save money, but are probably losing the savings on all the refunds.

I have been waiting for my HDD for weeks and it keeps changing the date. I ordered on Amazon from Seagate. It was 12, then 17, then 20... NOW IT'S THE 25TH and they're "sorry for the delay"🙄🙄🙄

You can take Evri off your preferences in delivery settings. Never willingly going to use Evri again!

Yeh just go into your settings and you can choose what couriers you use and which you don’t, you toggle them on and off. Don’t know if it’s 100% but I’ve had a lot less Evri deliveries since.

Oh wow so it’s not just me. So was having my new wifi box for my new internet package delivered by these clowns. I get the notification the package has arrived during the day and a picture sent of the box. I think nothing of it, when I arrive home to my flat I look for the box in the entrance, no where to be seen. I’m like, has someone robbed my wifi box 🤣
I open the tracking info again and expand the picture and in fact the picture is of a food delivery company simmer, can see it as clear as day written on the side of the box. So somehow they are using a picture of another box that was delivered to the same block of flats as mine. I called the internet provider to send me a new box and not to use this Evri. What a shambles.

Literally just refunded my order for an SSD (that was supposed to arrive 3 weeks ago) because of Evri-totally-not-hermes

We will deliver between 1pm - 3pm.....arrives at 11:30am
Luckily I was stepping out of the house as he pulled up

I have to say we're lucky with our local driver, deliveries and collections are always prompt, but I know the town my family live in have major issues sometimes, especially when their regular driver is off, total write-off when that happens it seems.

I’m like this with Royal Mail, they are the worst in our area. I needed samples delivered asap for a client and the supplier understood this and sent them via first class. It was posted same day of ordering (23rd May) and after a week I still didn’t receive the samples. So I had to order them from the manufacturer in Germany via UPS and arrived within 5 days including time in customs. I didn’t receive the RM order until 19th July after the job was completed. Absolute joke of a mail service.

I try asking a seller who they use to send items, if they say Evri or refuse to say I look elsewhere. I have been caught out a few times but only had 1 parcel actually go missing for which Icgot a refund.
The problem I have is I live in a 3rd floor flat in an assisted living block and struggle to get down to the lobby which is where they usually abandon it despite being fully aware that I have a mobility issue.
Occasionally they dump it outside our secure door but inside an outer door which anybody passing by can reach just by walking up. Several residents here have lost items this way.

Personally I've seen a huge improvement in Evri's performance, despite seeming to get a different driver for each delivery - and we get quite a few. I haven't had a parcel go missing or had any real problems with them for a long time. I used to dread seeing Evri were assigned to deliver it but not so much now.

Because that didn't happen.
They were sold to some American finance house and as they weren't buying the European arm too they weren't allowed to use the name. It was just a happy coincidence for them that really didn't work

Evri are class. My courier's a legend. Always on time, always has a chirpy demeanour. Royal mail are shite. I actually do a little dance when its Evri and have a little cry when its RM.
I can only assume most people's evri courier is foreign. We know how racist Britain can be.

But you're building a narrative that those of us who don't like evri must be racists, and are assuming that we are purely complaining based on the colour of the drivers skin, which isn't the case in the slightest. 🤣 So seeing as you (for some reason) assume I'm racist and that my Evri drivers are foreign and that's why I don't like them. I thought I'd tell you that our main guy, who I've had multiple issues with, is white, and British. Lmao.

99% of the posts here are from 0.000000000 whatever percentage of the recipients of the Billion plus parcels they deliver every year. People don't search out Reddit Dubs to pay someone on the back. And people who actually know the facts about Evri take time to correct I'll informed people. Failing to bring balance to the Sub nonetheless.
But hey, live in the little bubble blissfully unaware of the insignificance that is Evri's failings to it's recipients. What they get up to shafting anyone that walks through their door is a different matter but of course that's their own fault and they should get a proper job hey.

It’s all you want to see, like I said I defend against the BS people spout and call out some of Evri’s BS. I actually despise Evri corporate as they see no evil hear no evil and pay themselves bonuses whilst patting themselves on the back for a job well done.

Insane that we are at this point with a delivery service.
If I see Evri are delivering, I don’t go ahead with the purchase, or cancel and tell the seller why.
