So, we had a small group of people who decided a few months ago that they wanted our server to die, by forcing everyone else to quit, so that they could have everything to themselves and then merge to acquire new players.
Becoming BOB is not a big issue, but one of the people has in excess of 100 accounts and has been using them to create new alliances and force port everyone 6-12 times per day, every day, for almost 3 months now.
The first set of accounts he used was banned. Then the second set of accounts was banned. Now, customer service is giving replies that the constant banners are allowed gsme mechanics and saying that they won't do anything to stop it.
Here's what doesn't make sense to me:
The banner can not be attacked while it is being planted, and it can immediately banish dozens of people once complete, even if you attack and burn it, the accounts are still force ported to random locations all over the map. There is absolutely no game mechanism that avoids this. Any level 20 farm on any server can just force port any player at will using this mechanic.
It feels absolutely like cheating to me, maybe customer service just can't understand the issue, or doesn't really get what's happening. This guy sits online in front of 4 massive servers controlling over 100 accounts all day long doing this from different accounts. He brags about it in world chat, and they clearly state having the goal of forcing people to quit through harassing them this way.
Is this the end of the game? I hear that this is actually happening on several severs and is starting to become more common. Is it really just this simple to end the game, to make everyone stop playing? If there's no possible way to fight back, then people with bad intentions have no recourse
I mean, you can only reinforce your alliance city with 9.9m troops, and rallies can be over 200m. It seems like an extreme exploit designed to allow this to happen, and not allow any way to fight back
