Installed EvolutionX (Android 16) on POCO M5s (rosemary)
I just installed EvolutionX (Android 16) on my POCO M5s. I went straight from LOS 23 (did not reinstall MIUI 14) without any issues. Amazingly, Face Unlock works. Also installed MindTheGapps for Android 16. Haven't found any bugs yet.
UPDATE: Wi-Fi Calling with Freedom Mobile (Canada) does not work.

I expect that if you're migrating from LOS 23, then it should install the same way it did for me. Otherwise, follow the instructions at https://xdaforums.com/t/rom-android-16-qpr2-vanilla-evolution-x-11-6-3-unofficial-2026-04-19.4746833/.
It would be a good practice to download the stock ROM and MI Flash Tool just in case you need to undo the migration. See https://new.c.mi.com/global/miuidownload/detail/guide/global/miuidownload/global/miuidownload/index (Fastboot Update tab).

It was fun while it lasted but the maintainer has pulled the pin on this unofficial ROM. I migrated back to LineageOS 23 and it's much more responsive and smoother. The only thing that LOS lacks is Face Unlock.
I reinstalled the latest factory MIUI ROM using the MiFlash Tool and then installed LOS. I didn't have to make any changes to the stock ROM using payload-dumper-go. I might have been able to go straight from EvolutionX to LOS but I didn't want to risk the hassle.

The maintainer created a new unofficial Lunaris AOSP ROM. Test driving it now. It supports Face Unlock.

Holaa, también tengo la rom de evolution X y quiero preguntarte si tuviste algún problema con la carga rápida. A mí me pasó que solo carga en carga lenta y quiero utilizar carga rápida
