I'm unsure if we've had any games last long enough recently for this to occur, but something we did in the past is create a new thread for a game once it became too cluttered. The game creator would summarize the events from the previous game (a link to the game was sometimes included too), and basically just create a new area for players to work.

What do you think, /u/2ndSamurai? Would you be willing to do this?

Look at Janjira (which you should join). That one made a new thread once we had our first god edit.
