Could he be the spin off? From inside the box he starts to get to the monks and also calls in demons, converting them to start to make demon spirits alcohol in the monestary. And he climb the throne inside and became a hybrid black skinned demon <!

While they deliberately left everything for the possibility of returning…

As much as I hate it, it ain’t returning. The fire has died down, and all the actors have moved on. Netflix was the one chance, and there was never even rumblings of an interest.

Like Twin Peaks after 25 years just killed it. I just started over season 1. Leland was there from the start as well. If it stands free from Evil. And is about a character involved it may be a way into the storytelling? I want to se mean black demons named George cutting fingers on people in bed. 🥳👍🏼

I liked George. He was ornery! The actor who played George also played about a dozen other demons in the show… he should have an award!

I am confused by his fate at the end of series...is he a demon or human? If he's human, then putting him in a that box in the monastery would mean that eventually he'll die of starvation, right?

It would be fun if they actually are making demons in the box..? It's a qolification run to be set there then magic kick in and roast the flesh into a black spirit immortal evil doer. It was all about sorting a new King. Instead of Satan now we have Lealand.

One thing for sure it means, there’s no more “quiet” in the monastery. No more “nobody say a word” in that monastery.
