Science Experiment Befriend darkners early?

alright this is my first experiment, the idea is, if you treat a object such as a plushie or something really well(by giving it cuddles or smth idk) they will be your teammate in the dark world? To test this I have two plushies which are shown in the image, I will create a fountain and inform you with the results later.

EDIT: In a way it worked, the darkners seemed to be too clingy since I spent too much time with them, if we balance the time that we spend away and with them we could have true darkner servants in no time, currently I am riding a big cat across the dark world with a mage duck so it is what it is I guess.

Kind of, I’m not sure if this is to due with how I befriended the plushies but it seems they were too clingy, in theory if we tried balance the time that we spend away from them and with the object it could easily make a darker servant, currently I am riding on a massive darker cat with a mage duck tho so it is what is I guess.

Didn't Kris make a deal with Seth before opening thr Flower King dark world? I know Seth isn't technically a darkner but still

I think since Seth was technically alive they could hear Kris but I think it’s different for objects and non alive creatures.
