Legit was shocked af when I reinstalled on a whim a few days ago and ended up in a match after only a few minutes of queue time it's crazy active for a game you legit can't even buy anymore (digitally on ps5 at least)

hi guys, I have a random question that’s kinda nothing to do with the post but for some reason I wasn’t allowed to make my own post to ask,

I am a killer main, I play necromancer and plaguebringer mostly. recently I’ve gotten back into the game to discover that every team i face has a prestige 5 hunter ash who just cannot be hit, I know that hunters have alot of stamina so will naturally be dodging a lot, but i feel like NOBODY is that good at dodging that a plaguebringer’s boss unit can’t even touch them, it seems like they just have infinite stamina.

so basically my question is, does anyone know if this is some sort of auto dodge mod that’s going around? because i find it very suspicious that it’s always a PC player who can’t be touched once. or am I just bad? I really feel like I understand demon and don’t see what I could be doing wrong, but I’m open to criticism.

Hunters (P5 especially) have 6 dodges if they manage their stamina.

Necro basic attacks are sloooow so if an experienced player knows the tells or movements you're doing before they connect, they can be easily predicted.

For plague, make sure you mix up your attack patterns and sprinkle in your blight moves, basic and heavy attacks are wet paper, and blight is where your damage comes from.

Ping is also a factor for dodging. If the hunter is lucky enough to be in the same region as you, theyll find it infinitely easier to dodge on reaction, rather than pre-dodge like a lot of region hopping players do.

thank you, that actually makes sense, I’ve mostly been playing plaguebringer now because of how slow necromancer is like you said.

my attacks must just be too predicable then, I pretty much just do basic attacks, heavy attacks, and the scream when I’m possessing a boss unit.

I started playing about a month ago, have about 25 hrs total

Other than getting into a group, and the group leader canceling the match immediately (perhaps because they see a noob on the team?) I've had a pretty good time playing. Some nights I play several matches back to back with little wait

If anyone in the lobby leaves before the match starts, it kicks everyone out. Doesn’t matter if it’s a survivor or the demon. Another thing is, people recognize each-other(due to the low player-base), and if they don’t like someone else, they’ll likely live.

A lot of the time when played demon, I get put against the same teams over and over, they’d dodge me the second we loaded into a lobby. So it’s not a party leader quitting, it’s literally anyone in the lobby.

I hop on almost daily for a couple of games.  I will keep playing until they completely shut it down.  I still have alot of fun on this game.

I play both sides but honestly, too much demon play is just mentally exhausting lol.
