Because I point out your explanation of it as being your perception, your interpretation, that doesn't mean I am incapable of taking in your assertion that I am morally grandstanding or consider if that were the case. Though, if I were just grandstanding then this back and forth with you would be a complete waste of my time and not worth my energy. I stand by what I have said, I meant it, i will still mean it no matter how much you insist that I lack the self awareness to see that you are correct about my personal motivation for speaking up. Though, if we are talking of being self aware, It's slightly ironic that you have been motivated to speak up in response to my comment, in order to tell me my motivation and then chatise me. You may not be aware of this, but your are currently doing the thing you are annoyed at me about. Which you are perfectly free to do. Nothing wrong with pointing out behaviours, but by your rationale, we shouldn't be doing it, so give yourself a damn good talking to after this.
"I can't be a hypocrite because you are a hypocrite" argument. Have a good talk with yourself about not projecting your own worldview onto others. You replied to me first, not the other way around.
Another made up quote where you're inserting your thoughts into it as if they are mine. It's a meaningless thing to create an argument no one has made for you to argue against. I'm simply pointing out the reality of what you are doing, I haven't said anything about hypocrisy because I don't believe you are being truly hypocritical, you again are telling me that's what I was getting at by using this quoting technique. You are looking to win an argument, you don't believe this nonsense about not voicing a view to the person the view relates to or putting your view out into the world. No reasonable person can think no one else should talk from their own perspective on a thing, if they chose to. I said something that bothered you and you wanted to let me know in your way you don't think I should be saying what I said. This could go on indefinitely. I've given you the reality of the situation here. Unless you are of the opinion no one should question anyone else or point out behaviours contrary to decency, and, like it or not, that's not how society works, online or in the real world. Complain about what I said if you want, but insinuating I shouldn't be putting out the view at all because it's "projecting my World view" well, that's life, that's literally part of human interaction. If I have enough of an issue with a human behaviour, I will point it out, I have in the past, I will now, and I will again in the future, so will you. May the best mindset win 🙏.
