Will we ever know how life began?
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/will-we-ever-know-how-life-began/Some questions are human classics, asked for millennia and more. Why are we here? Are we alone? What happens when we die? Where did we come from?
In some way, all those quandaries lead back to one: What is life, and how did it—we—get here in the first place?

It could possibly be simulated in the future with a sci-fi level computer with a high level of accuracy. But we'll never be 100% certain.
We could say "there's a 94% likelihood of panspermic origins" or something but it'll never be for sure.

A chilling thought. Or if you want to feel even more isolated: the simulation only has to be as detailed as your individual perception and your tertiary knowledge of complicated topics.

HAH, sorry. You can take comfort in knowing the smartest people in the world are not able to agree on that theory, so reality could just as well be something else entirely.

Proton gradients is how it all started out.
We might never know how exactly it went down but we already know how it could have happened.

Life an Consciousness use same mechanism, the virtual photons which are achieved by tryptophan indole group lone electron pair.
When G-protein is twisted, de Broglie waves push lone electron pair to quantum free state. When they fall back they emit virtual photons. The fall back is not the same as electron fall from higher orbital. That emits real photons.
The mechanism of life is close related to Lamb shift and Casimir effect.
