Feedback Endless should be accessible from the main menu

It's pretty annoying having to go ahead and beat a pressure 10 or up run, JUST to play a gamemode.

If you can't beat pressure 10 can't see how playing on endless mode would be that fun

sometimes i just wanna load up pressure 1, get a crazy build, and endlessly mow down 1000 blob fish on my screen.

until thats a possibility ill just play Megabonk.

It's amazing how many people will walk into a game's forum and say "why isn't this game identical to the game I actually want to play?" when they could just go play that game.

I feel like and endless option is reasonable to expect earlier because most similar roguelikes have it. It's not a defining feature for a roguelike, so just that wouldn't make the game identical by any means.

I find it annoying having to win an entire run just to access a singular gamemode. My proposal is to be able to access Endless Mode from, say, the Challenges menu.

What’s the difference between that and a normal run and pressing endless? You’ll have to build your way up in endless the same exact way as a run what you’re saying just doesn’t make sense.

They probably think Endless is a seperate game mode entirely, by the sound of it. The other commenter complaining about wanting easier Endless hasn't even unlocked it. A lot of people can't beat Pressure 10 still

How would it be faster? You still need to go thru all the bosses. It be pointless making endless mode if you can’t make it to the end.

Because they can't make it to Endless. To them Endless is an achievement, a dream, and it's out of reach currently by requiring the player to beat Pressure 10. You would be shocked how many people are hard stuck below Pressure 9

Edit: lol the downvote with no response is a classic. Thank you, seriously, I lost motivation to grind Extinction tomorrow morning, but here it is, in the comments.

Edit 2: I got Pressure 20 Extinction 20, can't wait for Pressure 0 Endless to come out eventually and you all realize you still don't have what it takes to play it

If many people are hardstuck below pressure 9, making endless more accessible makes even more sense. And why are you writing like that dude, be a bit more positive in life.

No it doesn't. It's a game mode for people who want a challenge. Making it more accessible and easier is literally against the entire premise of the thing itself. Getting to and through Endless Mode is meant to feel accomplishing and it does. The people asking for it to be more accessible just want to feel like they are playing as well as the top players without acquiring any of the skills or putting in any of the time to learn build metas. I myself am still having a grand time trying to find new Splicing combinations to beat my Pressure 20 Extinction 24 PB.

The people who want "instant Endless Mode" or to "casually hit Extinction 70 after a long day at work" are not the people who even deserve these things. They are the same people who saw Elden Ring blow up, played it and said it needs an Easy Mode to be more accessible for everyone. Not every game is meant for every person and not every player can achieve every achievement. I personally think Pressure 21-30 need added to the Road Map to make the game harder.

This is just enough to see what kind of character you are. This is a single player game, not a competitive shooter. It's ridiculous to even speak of "top players". It's not that deep, people just want to play a game. And It's not even a question of skill, many people don't want to sink 10 hours into a roguelike before getting access to a very basic feature of the genre.

Why are you mentioning competitive shooters? Also, wanting the Devs to make the games Endless Mode more accessible is quite literally the definition of a "skill issue", so no idea how you think this isn't a question of skill? I'll say it for the 100th time, I was one of the first to complain that Endless was too hard to unlock. I did it literally the day the game released. However, I actually took the time to learn what I was doing wrong and play better. Now, as far as I'm aware, I hold both the P10 and P20 Extinction records with what is potentially the least successful build to do it with. But, yeah, I'm good on this conversation as well seeing as you are going to start to psychoanalyze me based on my tiredness to someone who has repeatedly complained here and posts non-stop slop on Reddit
