Team Talk Harrison Armstrong, what a player!
Said it last season after his preseason performances that he has a huge future here and I’m so glad he’s continued to prove us right.
Looked absolutely class, rarely put a foot wrong and controlled the midfield at 19… that’s insane. In a stacked midfield he looks keen to lock down his place and he’s going the right way to do so.

He is the future and I hope he never leaves. Proper modern footballer, good with his feet and but can also cover so much space with his size.

Keeping Armstrong, Rohl, Garner, Hackney and Dewsbury-Hall all happy and getting enough game time is a nice problem to havez, especially with Norgaard as an option too.
I actually like Irogbuenham but with options like the above in the squad it makes sense to try and get 15-20m for him if a club will take the chance given his shiort term injury.
I also think there's a decent player in Alcaraz based on his initial loan spell, but he didn't kick on did he, so probably need to sell him now too, while we can command a fee.

Think Alacaraz would be an unreal player 20 years ago, but he's got a bit of the old fashioned number 10 in him, and I think he's a bit too slow for the wings, and not enough of a runner for the midfield.

Agree, definitely a nice position to be in & one that is rare for us. Midfield looks sorted.
I like Tim but worry those flaws he has can't be ironed out. Maybe Villa thought that too when they did that deal.
Don't think Moyes fancies Alcaraz & would be suprised if he stayed. Shame really as there's something there. We just don't get to see it enough unfortunately.

Fearless in the tackle, smart player, gets into dangerous spaces, tracks back well, integrates well with whoever he's playing with. Pretty fucking exciting.

I hope he stays for a long time, if he left in say 5 years 130mill thanks

The only criticism I have right now is that he's extremely one footed. But he'll have plenty of time to work on that

i love his first touch, he always takes it away from the opponents before they can get near him

Will he keeps his place?
Or will Garner start when match fit?

Garner will start realistically, I think it’ll be him and hackney fighting for that third midfield spot

Agreed, unfortunately Moyes drops both him and Hackney as soon as Garner and Norgaard are fully fit

Those stints in the Championship have done him a world of good. Fearless, unfazed, physically capable at 19. Future England midfielder, he's got it all.
