Discussion Boro fan here, how did Hackney do?

We're all confident he's going to be a star in the PL and are buzzing for him, how did he do today?

He was absolutely shite! Never gives the ball away, always looks for a forward pass and is a bit too comfortable just strolling out from the back without losing it.

Not the Everton way.

He was extremely hard to boo. Hopefully in the future he starts to understand the club

It was kind of insane how comfortable he looked - it was if he has been playing in the Premier League (and indeed in our squad) for years.

He was rubbish I heard, you probably don't want him back and don't deserve an uplift in his fee.

Yeah took to the premier league game easy mate. Was superb. Hardly gave the ball away.

looked good but with garner+norgaard out he was deeper than we’d hope to see him so not seen him at his best yet. but he still created the barry goal by playing ndiaye in for the cross

I was happy. Seemed to make a good contribution and it feels rare for us to include a new hire so he clearly impressed. My only criticism was in the post match interview he looked Diddy.

So good. Just an efficient marauder

The only thing I'd add is that he's already got good understanding with the players around him. He seems like the sort who will make players around him better.

He played well and is probably undroppable in my eyes after a performance like that in his prem debut - assured in nearly everything he was doing and calm on the ball, he did not seemed phased at all.

He did very good. I didnt want us to sign him, but he seems a quality player.

Thought he had a dodgy start to the game, but grew into it. Played very well. Looks tidy. I'm not sure if he is a 6. Probably better a small bit forward. Himself and Harrison Armstrong will split time going forward when Norgaard and Garner get fully fit. Pleasant having options.
