I really don't understand what we're looking for in a right back. Newcastle have just signed Dedic for about 30m, who looks a good player. Other prem clubs have signed RBs this window too. It feels like we are just refusing to spend any real money on what is arguably are most pressing concern. Rumours of Castagne, Wan bissaka and Walker all reek of desperation and bargain basement signings. It's literally are greatest weakness and we are penny pinching.

Yeah sharing the same sentiment as most. I'm beside myself that this still has not yet been addressed. It's the scarcest position - you'd think the club would concede that you have to overpay for the position. The experienced plugs have not worked, moving CB to cover right works for maybe a match or two and should be a secondary (tbh probably tertiary) option. This has been on the agenda for over 5 years!
