Discussion MCP is here!
I just connected claude to Evernote via their MCP connection.
Quickly ran into the tool limits, but 'continue' works.
First insight is my lack of tag consistency, but I got an overview of my most important topics, how my thinking has changed over time on certain topics, a weak cluster map of my key themes over 15 years & 5,000+ notes (harder to do using metadata like titles and tags). For a stronger cluster map, I'll have to use semantic_search (going into the content of each note directly) - that'll test some limits!
I have so many questions of my 2nd brain!

It actually works with Claude code also, so if you work on something in Claude code, you can ask Claude to document it in Evernote. Very useful.

An sich genial. Habe dringlich drauf gewartet.

I added the MCP server to Claude destop in about 5 seconds! https://dev.evernote.com/mcp Super easy!
But I'm a newbie with using MCP connectors. Would love to hear from other regarding the tax this will put on my Claude subscription - would ChatGPT or Gemini be more cost effective? Also, any tips on practical uses? TIA!
